Contribute to man vessel with competent and engaged Offshore personnel at optimized cost.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Apply National and International maritime regulation and flag requirements.
- Plan and coordinate crew changes in accordance with BOURBON’s and Client’s requirements and standards.
- Ensure that joiners’ competencies and skills comply with the requirements of clients.
- Communicate with captains and various agencies for effecting smooth and well-planned crew changes in a cost-effective manner.
- Plan and organize crew changes (visas, travels and all logistics issues).
- Ensure a reliable and accurate reporting (assessments, recruitment) on the vessel he/she is in charge of and contribute to department reporting.
- Follow-up & finalize Offshore personnel claims with P&I clubs and/or insurance instances.
- Maintain the database and records of all crew up-to-date in compliance with ISO/ISM requirements.
- All claims processed and level of reimbursement in line with contractual agreements.
- Apply Compensation and Benefits recommendations in line with affiliate and Group policy.
- Monitor all individual insurance for Offshore personnel: declaration and registration.
- Prepare and follow-up all the flags’ requirements (endorsement, seaman book…).
- Control and validate invoices related to seafarers’ expenses.
- Control and validate invoices related to crewing matters (training, visa, travels …).
- Support implementation of processes, tools and best practices.
- Ensure seafarers’ activities are updated on the system in order to pay the crew on time and ascertain zero over payment.
- Provide relevant report to management as required.
- Perform any other cognate related duties as assigned by the Management.
The Crewing Coordinator is linked hierarchically to the Lead Crewing Coordinator.
Candidate’s profile:
- Hold as minimum Higher School Certificate or alternate equivalent relevant qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position, as project/people management and/or in an administration position.
- Knowledge of Marine Industry and/or Oil and Gas industry will be an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills to meet deadlines.
- Proficient in MS Office tools and ability to operate specific software programmes related to the department
- Ability to work and adapt in a complex and challenging environment.
