You will be responsible for contributing to assignment of crew qualifying with regulations and requirements and to arrange personnel’ logistics as per planning of deployments.

In order to achieve this, you will:
Organize personnel logistics for crew changes (visas, travels and follow up to destination);
Check, ensure record and update of all crew complement’s data and activities (including local crew if applicable) in compliance with regulations BOURBON’s and Client’s requirements;
Apply and follow-up of all the flags requirements (endorsement, seaman book,…) till delivery to the individuals;
Collect training needs and control seafarers’ training achievement under Crew Coordinator’ supervision;
Assist and replace as needed the Crew Coordinator for management / planning of crew in order to ensure proper and timely ships manning.
Assist Crew Coordinator on checking and recording seafarers’ appraisals / assessments results for training, promotion;
Assist Crew Coordinator at checking invoices.
The Crew Assistant is linked functionally to the Crew Coordinator.
Your profile:
You have a University degree;
You have at least 2 years’ relevant experience as administrative assistant and travel agent. Knowledge of marine industry and/or oil and gas industry will be a plus (STCW, MLC 2006, crew changes, flags, etc.);
You are extremely organized, able to manage priorities and have strong attention to details;
You are dynamic and polyvalent and you have excellent communication and customer-service skills;
You are able to work on multiple projects at the same time and to think and act quickly under pressure and meet deadlines;
You must be willing to work autonomously and be comfortable working in a multi-cultural environment;
You have a good knowledge of MS Office especially excel;
A perfect command of French and English is mandatory.
