Credit Controller

We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Credit Controller to join our Finance team.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct credit risk assessment and analyze financial statements
2. Set & review credit limits, negociate & establish credit terms with clients
3. Ensure accurate and timely invoicing & monitor billing process
4. Manage & reduce outstanding dept and contact customers to arrrange timely payment
5. Enforce credit policies and procedures & recommend updates to credit policies
6. Maintain regular communication with customers & response promptly to their inquiries
7. Present and  prepare credit reports & provide insights into credit trends
8. Reconcile customer payments, investigate and resolvediscrepancies in payment record 
9. Initiate legal proceedings to recover outstanding debts and collabotate with legal agencies
10. Maintain accurate and up to date records of customer interactions and payment details
11. Generate, analyze reports &  provide regular update to management

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• 5 years or more of experience in credit control or a similar role
• Knowledge of credit risk assessment, debt collection, and credit laws
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Proficiency in using financial software and MS Office, especially Excel
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
