Credit Controller

The credit controller will report to Credit Control Supervisor. Credit Controller is responsible for the monitoring of debtors, maximize cash collection, ensure that credit terms are being respected and seek for credit limit coverage to minimize credit risk and loss.

Job description of Credit Controller:

• Close monitoring of debtors
• Preparation and sending of statement of accounts
• Contacting clients for payment resolution and ensure that customers settle within agreed payment terms
• Reviewing client's credit-worthiness.
• Liaise with insurer for credit limit coverage
• Assisting and following with cash collections
• Negotiating payment arrangements if needed with the approval of credit control supervisor.
• Recording and reconciling payments
• Resolving payment discrepancies
• Maintaining billing accounts and records
• Tracking  and issuing of credit notes.
• Liaise with the legal department.
• Producing reports such as debtors ageing, debtors evolution, debtors days and any other reports as required by credit control supervisor and/or management.
• Any other cognate duties as may be assigned by the credit control supervisor.
