The Coordinator – IT Applications and Channels will be responsible to provide technical support on different applications used within the bank.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide support and maintenance on existing systems
• Provide technical assistance to functional users in daily operations
• Ensure the smooth functioning of the bank’s core, card management systems and other applications
• Report system malfunctions / issues to software vendor and ensure timely delivery of patches
• Ensure thorough testing of patches before movement to production
• Ensure assigned tasks and projects are completed and delivered within budget and given deadlines
• Act as a link between end users and higher-level support and ensure compliance with IT standards and functionality
• Identify enhancements required in existing applications to meet changing user requirements
• Write technical procedures / standard operating procedure and documentation for new/existing applications including operations, user guide, etc.
• Co-ordinate with users for new reports and dashboard requirements
• Deal with various software vendor for analytical task
• Proven experience in card management system, internet banking and mobile banking will be a definite advantage
• Develop and maintain accurate and consistent reports – including but not restricted to reports requested by internal bank users and / or regulatory bodies such as the Bank of Mauritius
• Develop new automated solutions to enhance the smooth running of the bank’s daily processes
• Report to the line manager / HOD – IT Applications and Channels / IT Services

PREREQUISITES:

• Degree Holder in Computer Science and Software development or equivalent
• Professional qualification as a software developer
• At least 5 years proven experience in a similar position

SKILLS:

• Previous working experience in a banking environment would be an advantage
• Proficient in .Net technologies and C#. Knowledge of MVC 4 framework would be an advantage.
• Excellent skill in low code / no code environment for rapid deployment
• Good analytical knowledge in AI and ML
• Proven General programming skills
• Experience in developing jasper reports, BI reporting and analytics
• Proven experience in data lakes and data warehouse management
• Excellent organizational and coordination abilities
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proven knowledge of RDBMS Concepts, Oracle PLSQL, SQL., HTML, Python and other next gen application tool.
