Our Client in the banking sector is seeking to recruit a Communications Officer for its operation.
Responsibilities:
- Draft and Edit a wide range of materials (articles, news, briefing notes, memos, video scripts, internal comms to colleagues, etc)
- Deliver creative and compelling copy across all aspects of our digital communications, including website copy, blogs, articles and social media
- Ensure complex concepts and information are presented in a clear, accessible and engaging manner
- Review and proof read corporate materials to ensure a consistent tone (reports, policies guidelines etc)
- Create engaging content through graphic design in different formats (infographics, presentation)
- Source, review and organise engaging content for staff (news stories, photos, videos, newsletters, briefings…)
- Collaborate with team and colleagues across the organisation to source and generate content to reach target employee groups
Profile:
- Degree in journalism, Communications
- Proven experience in editing, writing, copywriting in English
- Have an impeccable command of English
- Ideally have an interest in the Fintech / Financial space
- Ability to simplify technical jargon
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in-house
- A passion for writing and the ability to produce creative and compelling copy to tight deadlines
- Strong eye for detail
- Ability to work as part of a team
