Client Accountant

The Client Accountant role involves assisting in bookkeeping, management and final account preparation, tax computations, tax assessment handling, and VAT preparation for various entities.

Job Description:

We are seeking for a Client Accountant to join our dynamic accounting team. Reporting to the Senior Accountant, the Client Accountant will play a crucial role in supporting various financial and accounting activities within the organization. This role involves assisting in bookkeeping, management and final account preparation, tax computations, tax assessment handling, and VAT preparation for various entities. The Client Accountant will also be responsible for performing other related duties as assigned by the Chief Accounting Officer and Management.

Responsibilities:

•Collaborate with the Senior Accountant to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records.

•Assist in bookkeeping tasks and contribute to the preparation of management accounts and final accounts for AC,

 GBC, and Domestic Companies.

•Assist in the preparation of tax computations for AC, GBC, and Domestic Companies.

•Provide support in managing tax assessment processes.

•Assist in the preparation of monthly/quarterly VAT reports.

•Undertake any cognate duties assigned by the Chief Accounting Officer and Management.

Qualifications:

•Individuals with ACCA Level 1 qualifications or equivalent.

•Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in preparation of clients’ accounts

•Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.

•Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

•Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

•Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software is a plus.
