Childcare Educator

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and ensure the safety of children in your care
• Plan and facilitate fun, educational activities and games for 4-12 years old.
• Assist with homework and provide academic support as needed
• Promote positive behavior and good manners
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about children's progress and any concerns
• Maintain a clean and organized activity area
• Follow the Afterschool operations, Childcare standards, Policies procedures and Health guide.

Qualifications:

• Enthusiastic, patient, and dependable
• Prior experience working with children is a plus
• Ability to engage children in creative and recreational activities
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Must pass background checks and adhere to safety protocols
• Certificate, diploma or degree in the relevant fields of teaching, childcare or sports.
