Category Manager - Fresh Department

Are you passionate about fresh food retail and ready to take ownership of a key category? Savemax Supermarkets is hiring a Category Manager – Fresh Department to oversee Fruit & Veg, Daily Fresh, and Bakery categories.

🔍 Key Responsibilities:

• Manage pricing, assortment, and supplier negotiations for fresh produce, meat, dairy, and bakery.
• Deliver strong Sales & Margin Reports, Shrinkage Control, and Weekly Costing Reports.
• Analyze consumer trends and competitor pricing to optimize assortment and margin.
• Work closely with supply chain and in-store teams to ensure product availability and freshness.
• Lead product innovation and seasonal planning in the fresh segment.

✅ Requirements:

• At least 3 years of category management experience in FMCG or retail.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
• Passion for fresh products and understanding of perishables.
• Excellent communication and leadership capabilities.
