Category Manager (2519-CMGR)

Our client is seeking to recruit for a talented Category Manager to join its dynamic Consumer Health Team to continuously elevate its brand to new heights.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement long term plans and strategies for the growth and success of assigned portfolios.
• Responsible for building and implement Brand Plans to achieve sales, profitability and growth objectives and ensure the profitable development of the assigned brands.
• Conduct market research, analyse data to determine market requirements and maintain a continuous observation and monitoring of the market to remain competitive in the consumer market.
• Development and implement business plans for assigned portfolio of products and manage budget for advertising & promotion.
• Develop sales forecast, monitor sales performance and collaborate closely with Supply Chain to always ensure appropriate stock level.
• Foster fruitful relationships with suppliers & business partners to improve on product offer and business profitability.
• Prepare and conduct business reviews with principals and internal & external stakeholders.
• Lead and mentor a team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.

Profile:

• Degree in Marketing or any other equivalent qualification; preferably with an MBA.
• At least 5 years experience in a Category / Brand Management position.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical/consumer health sector will constitute an advantage.
• Result oriented with excellent analytical, communication & interpersonal skills.
• Strategic Thinker and problem-solving abilities.
• Performance driven with excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Holder of a clean driving license.
