Cut, trim, debone, and portion meat according to company specifications.
Prepare retail-ready cuts, trays, and value-added products.
Ensure strict compliance with hygiene, HACCP, and food safety standards.
Maintain cold chain integrity at all times.
Monitor meat quality, freshness, and rotation (FIFO).
Minimise wastage and ensure accurate portion control.
Operate and maintain butchery equipment safely.
Keep work areas, tools, and equipment clean and sanitised.
Assist with stock receiving, checking, and storage when required.
Provide basic product advice to customers when needed.
Proven experience as a butcher.
Knowledge of beef, lamb, pork, and poultry cuts.
Understanding of hygiene and HACCP principles.
