Business Intelligence Analyst

We are looking for a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to work in close collaboration with our Software Development & Data Engineering team at Maureva.

We are looking for a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to work in close collaboration with our Software Development & Data Engineering team at Maureva. In this role, you will transform complex airline and operational data into actionable insights that drive strategic and operational decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Dashboard & Report Development

Develop and maintain interactive dashboards, KPIs, and visual reports tailored to airline operations and accounting needs using tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

2. Data Analysis & Insights

Analyze large datasets from Maureva’s Solutions (Airline Revenue Accounting data: EDGAR & MARGO, Flight & Crew Management data: ALEXIS, Airline Cost Control data: KEOPS) and external industry standard source of information such as Booking & Competitive Intelligence data, to identify trends and business opportunities.

Provide insights on Airline’s Revenue/Operational performance (e.g., Route profitability) to both internal teams and airline clients.

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with product, customer support, and software development teams to understand data flows and translate business requirements into BI solutions.

4. Data Quality Assurance

Ensure data accuracy and integrity across multiple aviation data sources and reporting platforms.

7. Reporting & Communication

Deliver periodic and ad hoc reports for internal management and external airline customers.

8. Industry Knowledge & Continuous Improvement

Stay current on BI trends, industry metrics and best practices.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
• 2+ years’ experience in BI or Data Analysis.
• Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent BI tools.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and data validation.
• Experience in the aviation sector is an advantage
• Ability to communicate complex findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working with large data volumes and multi-source data environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
