QBL is seeking a highly analytical and strategic Business Analyst to join our Marketing and Strategy team. This role is pivotal in driving data-informed decision-making, optimizing marketing performance, and supporting strategic initiatives that fuel business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis & Insights
- Analyze marketing campaign performance, customer behavior, and market trends.
- Develop dashboards and reports to track KPIs such as category performance, sales trends, and market penetration.
- Create price elasticity models to support pricing and revenue optimization strategies.
Strategic Planning
- Support the development of annual marketing strategies and go-to-market plans.
- Evaluate new market opportunities and customer segments using data-driven approaches.
- Conduct market intelligence analysis, including competitor benchmarking and industry trend monitoring.
Forecasting & Business Case Development
- Build financial models and business cases for new initiatives, partnerships, or product launches.
- Forecast marketing impact on revenue and customer acquisition.
- Build and deploy predictive models, AI-driven analytics, and machine learning applications to forecast demand and identify market trends.
Reporting & Visualization
- Design and maintain interactive dashboards (e.g., in Power BI) for real-time monitoring of sales, inventory, and marketing performance.
- Ensure insights are clearly communicated to senior leadership through compelling visualizations and executive-ready reports.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams to tailor insights to business needs.
- Translate complex data into strategic recommendations that support go-to-market planning, campaign optimization, and revenue growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in business analysis, marketing analytics, or strategy consulting.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience with marketing platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, Salesforce) is a plus.
- Experience with data visualization, dashboard creation, and storytelling with data.
- Familiarity with AI tools and techniques (e.g., predictive modelling, customer segmentation using machine learning) is an advantage.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills & Attributes:
- Experience in a fast-paced, data-driven marketing or commercial environment.
- Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Salesforce, or marketing automation platforms.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to connect data insights to strategic outcomes.
- Self-starter with a proactive mindset and attention to detail.
