Our client, a reinsurance company, operating since 1997, is looking for a motivated Broker for reinsurance placements and to develop relationships with insurers and clients.

Our client, a reinsurance company, operating since 1997, is looking for a motivated Broker for reinsurance placements and to develop relationships with insurers and clients. 

DUTIES 

• To actively market Reinsurance Solutions Group services both with Clients of our territories and Reinsurers  

• Negotiate best terms, conditions and pricing with reinsurers in line with cedants’ requirements 

• Oversee and ensure the timely issuance of Cover Notes, slips and all related contractual documentation. 

• Contribute actively to business development initiatives across the Mauritian and regional markets 

• Collaborate closely with the broking team to ensure consistent service delivery aligned with Client expectations 

QUALIFICATIONS 

• Degree holder or Certificate in Insurance 
• Minimum 3 years in Reinsurance or Insurance Industry 

SKILLS / COMPETENCIES 

• Good written and verbal communication skills in both English and French 
• Self-Disciplined and proper time/task management skills 
• Pro-active and solution-oriented mindset 
• Ability to manage multiple placements simultaneously while meeting deadlines 
• Ability to work collaboratively with broking teams to deliver optimal placement outcomes 
• Good knowledge of MS Office such as Word Excel
