Duties and Responsibilities
Working with a portfolio of UK clients (limited clients, sole traders and partnerships)
You will be required to carry our bookkeeping on cloud software as follows.
-Review sales and expenses received on data capture software DEXT, code accurately and publish to XERO accounting software
-Review bank statement transactions on XERO and accurately match to sales and expense invoices
-Post payroll journals from payroll reports
-Prepare queries for the UK team to send to clients
-Produce a XERO online bank reconciliation report and review for any amendments
-Review aged receivables and payables XERO reports, amend and provide review notes to UK team
-Review VAT transactions on XERO VAT return and confirm correct VAT tax codes have been used and send to UK team for final review
-Enter year end accounting journals onto XERO
Technical requirements
Understanding of double entry bookkeeping would be an advantage
Strong IT skills and working knowledge of Outlook, Excel and Microsoft teams
Use of accounting software such as XERO would be beneficial
Awareness of UK VAT rules is a plus
Good communications skills - on calls and emails with UK team
Qualification
Ongoing ACCA level 2 or any other equivalent qualifications.
Minimum 2 years’ working experience

Full training on software will be given
