A Bellboy provides a warm and professional welcome to guests, supports the Front Office team, assists with luggage, escorts guests to their rooms, and ensures a smooth arrival and departure experience in line with hotel service standards

 

Key Responsibilities

Guest Service & Experience

  • Welcome guests upon arrival with courtesy and professionalism.
  • Assist guests with luggage during check-in, check-out, and room transfers.
  • Escort guests to their rooms and provide a brief explanation of room features and hotel facilities.
  • Respond promptly and politely to guest requests and inquiries.
  • Maintain a friendly, helpful, and service-oriented attitude at all times.

Front Office Support

  • Coordinate with Front Desk, Concierge, and Housekeeping to ensure smooth guest flow.
  • Handle guest messages, parcels, and deliveries accurately.
  • Assist with airport transfers, transportation arrangements, and directions when required.
  • Support concierge services such as booking taxis, tours, and local recommendations.

Luggage & Equipment Handling

  • Ensure proper handling, tagging, and storage of guest luggage.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the luggage room and trolleys.
  • Report any damaged or left-behind luggage to the supervisor immediately.

Safety & Standards

  • Follow hotel safety, security, and hygiene procedures.
  • Maintain professional grooming and appearance according to hotel standards.
  • Protect guest privacy and confidentiality at all times.

Additional Duties

  • Assist during group arrivals and departures.
  • Support special guest requests and VIP arrivals.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties assigned by management.

 Qualifications & Experience

  • Certificate or secondary education preferred.
  • Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is an advantage.
  • Fresh candidates with a positive attitude are encouraged to apply.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Physically fit and able to handle luggage.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
