Barman - Dinarobin Beachcomber

Prepares and serves a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to customers based on the standards of the hotel and their preferences;

Job Responsibilities:

Prepares and serves a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to customers based on the standards of the hotel and their preferences;
Keeps the bar area clean and well-stocked;
Managing inventory, ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and maintaining equipment;
Responsible for creating and testing new drink recipes to keep the menu interesting;
Ensures compliance with safety and health regulations;
Being able to handle customer complaints and resolve issues effectively and efficiently;
Maintains a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.

Candidate Profile:

School Certificate or equivalent;
A NC Level 3 in Restaurant & Bar Services from Mauritius Institute of Training and Development or equivalent;
Previous professional experience in related function;
Good communication and organisational skills;
Should possess a pleasant and outgoing personality;
Able and willing to perform odd hours of work including Sundays, public holidays and cyclonic days;
Fluent in written and spoken English and French;
Knowledge of a third language will be an advantage.
