Our client in the financial services is seeking to recruit a Bank Account Administrator.

 

Responsibilities

  • Receive Account Opening Requisition form containing requests for opening new bank accounts.
  • Liaise with bank in relevant jurisdiction to ascertain bank account opening process and obtain bank account opening forms.
  • Prepare bank account opening board resolutions.
  • Obtain signatures and KYC on all signatories appointed to bank accounts.
  • Complete and obtain signatures on specimen signature card, where applicable.
  • Provide all statutory KYC information on company opening account and bank signatories to bank.
  • Once all the account opening documentation and KYCs are submitted to the Bank, follow up on progress with both the Bank and Authorised signatories on access provided.
  • Once the bank account is duly set-up and all the authorised signatories have confirmed their access, confirm to the finance and operations teams.
  • Update bank schedule with bank account and signatories.

 

Changing/Adding/Deleting Bank Signatory:

  • Any new additions requested – obtain approval from Group CFO and CFO of that silo.
  • Draft a letter for the change to be signed by any two directors one being an executive and non-executive or both be any two executive directors.
  • Scan the letter with KYC documents when adding.
  • Save email/s sent to bank and company relationship managers notifying of the changes in signatories on the letters sent to bank folder.
  • Email to bank the scanned copy and send the originals by courier.
  • Update bank schedule with current approved signatories.

 

Deletions of Signatory

  • Prepare letter to bank signed by two directors.
  • Update bank schedule with updated signatories.

 

Maintenance of Authorised Signatories Access:

  • Liaison with banks, finance and group re-bank accounts.
  • Provide any assistance in terms of account details as requested by the bank or the authorised signatories.
  • Respond to group requests regarding bank account information.
  • Maintain signatory KYC.

 

Authorised Signatory – Weekly Planning:

  • Collate availability of signatory for certain periods such as holiday times, update roaster to circulate through to the operations teams.
  • Arrange for any ad-hoc in change of signatory schedule during the week.

 

Board of Directors reporting:

  • Update bank account schedule reflecting all company accounts and signatories for reporting to the board, and management.
  • Report to reflect all changes done. E.g. deletions, additions, new bank account/s.

Profiles:

  • BSC or studying towards ICSA.
  • At least 2 to 3 years’ working experience in a similar environment.
  • Good communication skills - English writings.
  • Well organised.
  • Persuasive.
