About the Role

As a Senior Automation Developer you will play a key role in designing, delivering, and optimising end-to-end automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, Blue Prism, Outsystems, and more.
In this role, you’ll go beyond development—you’ll lead solution design, mentor junior colleagues, and work closely with stakeholders to deliver high-impact automations that simplify business processes and add real value.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and Functional Analysts to translate business needs into robust, scalable, and secure automation solutions.
- Design, develop, and customize automation applications using Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), BluePrism, Outsystems, or other relevant tools.
- Lead the full lifecycle of automation delivery—from architecture and development to testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Proactively engage with stakeholders, manage priorities, and ensure that solutions align with both business requirements and the existing IT landscape.
- Guide and support user acceptance testing (UAT), gather feedback, and iterate for continuous improvement.
- Provide clear, comprehensive documentation and ensure seamless handover to support teams.
- Serve as a mentor and technical coach for junior team members, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing.
- Ensure platform stability, security, and compliance through ongoing maintenance and governance of automation environments.
- Actively contribute to agile ceremonies and drive continuous delivery in a collaborative, cross-functional squad.
- Stay current with platform updates, AI integration (e.g., Copilot, Azure), and industry trends to bring innovation into your work.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- At least 3+ years of experience in a specific RPA / low-code platform, with strong preference for Power Platform, Blue Prism, and/or Outsystems.
- Microsoft certified: PL-900, Azure Fundamentals
- Proficiency in application design (UI, data modeling, business logic) and integration via APIs.
- Solid understanding of RPA/ low-code concepts, platform governance, and automation best practices.
- Experience in Agile environments (SCRUM), with knowledge of tools like Azure DevOps.
- Basic coding knowledge (e.g., JavaScript, C#, Python) is a plus.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals is a plus
- Agile certification (e.g., PSM, CSM, SAFe) is a plus.

- Agile mastery: Goes beyond participating in Agile ceremonies—actively contributes to sprint planning, story sizing, team retrospectives, and drives team velocity with reliable delivery.
