Avantor is looking for a dynamic, forward-thinking, and experienced Quotes Management Associate who will proactively review and analyze customer requests and follow them through - ensuring that the delivery takes place, and the right quotation is prepared and sent to the customer.

 

This role will be a full-time position based out of our Mauritius office. The associate is responsible for processing of customer orders and quotations into VWR SAP system within agreed service levels.  Communicate with customers and VWR associates primarily via email to clarify order details & quotation specifications and ensure all details are understood and customer requirements are fulfilled.

 

What we’re looking for 

  • Education: BS/BA Degree or allied science discipline or equivalent experience preferred
  • 1-3 years Customer Service experience.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and German language (both written and verbal) is a requirement
  • Flexible to work in shifts that suit business requirements.


How you will thrive and create an impact

• Read, analyze and understand the client requirements (Article, Price, Quantity, 
etc) mentioned on the customer order (German language)
• Review of the customer instructions to make sure all the customer requirements (Shipping mode & dates, Inco terms, etc.) are met.  
• Generate Sales Order & Quotations in SAP system by capturing and entering 
the customer requirements.  
• Generate the Quotation in the SAP system by capturing and entering the 
customer requirements.  
• The individual will be responsible for coordinating and sourcing information from other departments (VWR Internal), to resolve any discrepancy occurring in 
Sales order or quotations generated  
• Interact with Sales Team to clarify order processing discrepancies (pricing, etc.). 
• Capable to resolve internal/external customer requests/queries via email, fax & chat. 
• Deliver the results as per process requirements 
• Ability to delight customer above and beyond the call of duty 
• Must be able to manage multiple priorities 
• Up skill process knowledge from time to time 
• Customer centric approach, with ability to provide accurate information in user-friendly manner to the customer 
• Dedicated team player that will work with others to ensure the team achieves it goals and objectives
