Assistant Trust Administrator

Provide day to day assistance with preparing and reviewing all entity reviews within the trust department which will be of both a routine and complex nature with the assistance of the Trust Officer. This role will be a back office role.

 

Responsibilities

Day to Day duties will include:-

  • Statutory work – ensuring that statutory records are kept up to date and are accurately maintained at all times
  • Entity reviews – assist in carrying out an annual review of all entities within portfolio
  • Liaison with respective Group companies/departments regarding accounting and taxation issues
  • Liaison with clients and intermediaries by telephone and in writing with regard to matters of a non-complex nature
  • Administration of companies in portfolio
  • Completion of internal control reports
  • Ad-hoc project work of a non-complex nature
  • Bookkeep basic transactions
  • Manage the meeting room bookings and arrange the rooms for meetings as required

 

Minimum Experience/Education Required:

Previous office experience

Educated to degree standard

 

Special Skills Required:

Excellent telephone manner and communication skills

Good letter writing, numeracy and computer skills

Professional and smart appearance at all times

A positive ‘can do’ attitude

Good team player

Ability to work to deadlines with adequate supervision

 

Other:

Ideally 1 or more years of experience

Internal training will be provided

An understanding of bookkeeping and accounting is preferred but not essential

Attention to detail and ability to self-motivate are essential
