Our client, one of the pioneer and leader of end – to – end IT and digital solutions in Mauritius, is looking for an Assistant Software Manager to join its team of dedicated professionals.

The Assistant Software Manager will have to develop cutting-edge software solutions for their customers.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead teams in business analysis, design, development, implementation, optimization, maintenance, and troubleshooting of software programs and applications
• Conduct meetings/presentations with customers
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget while adhering to software development methodologies and best practices, and meeting quality standards and business objectives
• Proposal writing

Competencies & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in software engineering, computer science, information systems, information technology, or similar.
• Strong technical background and expertise in software development, combined with effective leadership skills
• In-depth knowledge of programming languages such as Python and JavaScript.
• Ability to keep up with software industry trends and innovation.
• Good organizational skills and abilities
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience within a similar role
• Ability to mentor software developers, as well as to collaborate with all stakeholders.
• Strong project management skills
• Experience in liaising with customers and conduct presentations/meetings
• Excellent verbal and communication skill
