Adecco is an International HR and Consultancy firm. Our client, in the manufacturing sector is looking for an Assistant Sales Manager.

 

Our client, in the manufacturing sector is looking for an Assistant Sales Manager.

The successful candidate will be responsible to assist the Sales Manager in organization of sales program including sales methods, incentives and special campaigns.

Main responsibilities:

  • Negotiate sales contract with clients to parameters set by Management.                                      
  • Manage portfolio of customers assigned to you.                                                                        
  • Ensure that credit and other sales policies inclusive of payment terms are observed.                   
  • Place order on account of your customers to factory, follow up production, and ensure timely delivery to your customers.                                                                   
  • Service customers and offer technical advice on feeds, and management of their farms.              
  • Feed back to the Sales Manager information from the customers and farming community at large.
  • Provide necessary back up and support to the sales team.                                                         
  • Have an awareness about current developments including customer reaction to products offered for sale.
  • Decide in conjunction with the Sales Manager on questions pertaining to Sales Department activities generally including negotiations with advertising and similar agencies on the preparation and presentation of the company’s sales publicity and approve material before publication.                                 
  • Maintain permanent contact with the farming community and to promptly attend to their queries and/or complaints and to regularly pay them visits on their farms so as to have an edge on competitors. 
  • Perform any other cognate duties that would normally devolve upon a job holder of your category.
  • Any other cognate duties.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        

Qualification:

  • Degree in Agriculture / Sales / Marketing
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in the manufacturing sector could be an advantage.
