We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in managing all aspects of cost planning, estimating, procurement, and contract administration for steel and metal construction projects.

Job Description

• Assist in preparing cost estimates and budgets for projects.
• Evaluate tenders and prepare cost analyses.
• Prepare and manage interim valuations and final accounts.
• Assist in procurement of subcontractors, materials, and suppliers.
• Review and interpret project drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Liaise with site teams to monitor progress and assess project costs.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure cost control procedures are followed.
• Support senior quantity surveyors in preparing monthly financial reports.

Candidate Profile

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in construction or steel industry will be an advantage
• Good understanding of construction contracts and project cost control.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and measurement software.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
