To drive and lead the operational and financial direction of the spa ensuring complete viability of the Spa, maximizing all opportunities and resources.
About the Role
To ensure that the highest standards are adhered to, and that guest experience exceeds expectation. To work closely with the Director, Spa in establishing and maintain marketing objectives, operating criteria, programming, budgeting, VIP guest visits, staff relations and training.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- To be responsible for the overall management and performance of the Spa, ensuring high standards of professionalism, customer service and financial performance along with the Director, Spa.
- To be responsible for the quality of service, and maintenance of the product at the Spa in line with Hotel Operating Standards.
- To liaise with the Hotels Sales and Marketing Manager in the preparation and development of marketing plans for the year. To coordinate all promotional plans and projects for the facility.
- To provide leadership, direction, and support to the employees at the Spa to develop a highly motivated team, who can deliver high standards of service in all areas.
- To effectively integrate the Spa within the Hotel Marketing Strategy and to ensure ongoing representation of the Spa, both internally and externally,
- To develop an annual training plan for the Spa and ensure that all employees are trained and developed to meet the needs of the business.
- To monitor standards of performance and member satisfaction and introduce measures to ensure the highest standards of quality and service.
- To lead the planning and implementation of marketing activities within the Spa, with support from the Hotel.
- To ensure that good practice is applied to all issues in relation to employees and ensure that all Hotel HR policies and procedures are followed.
- To provide an effective structure for communication within the Spa at all levels.
About You
The ideal candidate should have at least a certificate in spa management. The candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in the same role in an International Ultra-Luxury Resort and must be fluent in written and spoken English and French. The candidate should be a MQA approved trainer, should have the knowledge of spa therapy and be computer literate.
