Our Client is looking for an Assistant Manager – Sales

Job Purpose:

Assist in managing the Sales functions of the company

Help the organization to grow its sales targets and extend its customer distribution channels

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in formulating and executing strategic sales plans to meet or exceed company targets.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets for through individual and team performance.
  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance metrics and take corrective actions where necessary.
  • Identify new market segments and business opportunities to expand the company’s customer base.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis.
  • Assist in product development.
  • Supervise, mentor, and motivate the sales team to maximize productivity and efficiency.
  • Define objectives and set up measurable customer centric KPIs and KRAs and ensure that appropriate monitoring and reporting system is set in place.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to enhance product knowledge, sales techniques, and regulatory compliance for internal sales.
  • Implement performance appraisal processes and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Field assistance to build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, brokers, and partners.
  • Ensure high standards of customer service and resolve client issues promptly and professionally.
  • Guide the team in identifying customer needs and recommending suitable solutions.
  • Ensure all sales processes adhere to legal, regulatory, and internal compliance requirements.
  • Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis to management.
  • Perform any other cognate duties

 

Job requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales  (preferably in insurance, banking, financial sector)
  • Project Management skills
  • MS Office skills
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to engage efficiently in negotiations
  • Organized and efficient team player, able to influence at all levels
  • Self motivated and results-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Strong leadership skills who leads with integrity and precision
