Island Life Assurance Co. Ltd (ILA) is on the hunt for an ambitious Assistant Manager - Sales who thrives on challenge and innovation. In this dynamic role, you'll be a driving force behind our sales team, helping us break new ground, exceed sales targets, and build bridges to untapped customer communities.

Key Responsibility:

  • Assist in formulating and executing strategic sales plans to meet or exceed company targets.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets for life insurance products through individual and team performance.
  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance metrics and take corrective actions where necessary.
  • Identify new market opportunities through market research, competitive analysis, and contribution to product development.
  • Supervise, mentor, and motivate the sales team to maximize productivity and efficiency.
  • Define objectives and set up measurable customer centric KPIs and KRAs and ensure that appropriate monitoring and reporting system is set in place
  • Conduct regular training sessions to enhance product knowledge, sales techniques, and regulatory compliance for internal sales
  • Implement performance appraisal processes and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Provide field support and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and partners.
  • Ensure high standards of customer service and compliance with all legal, regulatory, and internal requirements.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses for management and carry out other related duties.

Candidate Profile:

  • Holder of at least a Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or any related field
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in experience in life assurance sales
  • Strong knowledge of life assurance products, market practices, and sales processes.
  • Project Management skills
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to partakes efficiently in negotiations
  • Organized and efficient team player, able to influence at all levels
  • Self motivated and results-oriented with string organizational and analytical skills
  • Strong leadership skills who leads with integrity and precision
