Assistant IT technician

The Assistant IT Officer provides technical support, troubleshoots hardware and software issues, and assists in maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure to ensure seamless operations.

The Assistant IT Officer supports the IT team in maintaining and enhancing the organization's technological infrastructure. Responsibilities include providing technical assistance to users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, installing and configuring computer systems and applications, managing network and server infrastructure, ensuring data security and backup procedures are followed, assisting with IT projects and initiatives, conducting training sessions for staff on IT-related topics, and staying abreast of emerging technologies to recommend improvements and efficiencies.
