As the Assistant Human Resources Manager, you will be a solid support to the Human Resources Manager in the day to day running of the department.
Your main responsibilities will be but not limited to:
- Full recruitment and on-boarding process (recruitment & selection process, interview process, reference check, monitoring and sign off of probation periods)
- Prepare letter of offers, contract of employments and letter of changes in conditions and variation forms
- Maintain a CV database
- Maintain a healthy filing system for all records of employees and keep personal files up-to-date
- Ensure applicable policies and processes are implemented and updated to demonstrate good HR practices
- Ensure a healthy and hospitable work environment with the team members
- In charge of all industrial relations matters.
- Assist the HR Manager in Strategic HR
Profile:
- 2-4 years’ experience as HR Officer or 2 years as Assistant HR Manager. Experience within the hotel/hospitality industry will be an advantage.
- A degree in Human Resources Management from a recognised institution. A postgraduate degree in Human Resources Management will be a plus.
- Sound knowledge of Labour Laws and legislation associated as well as excellent acumen in handling HR operational/employee relation matters.
- Is at ease using Sicorax HR and Vipertex
- Excellent leadership and people management skills
- Is able to handle pressure and meet deadlines
