Job Purpose:

To support the Energy Efficiency Engineer in conducting energy audits, analyzing data, preparing reports, coordinating with suppliers and contractors, and assisting in the implementation and monitoring of energy efficiency projects.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in conducting on-site energy audits and data collection.
  • Assist in on-site measurement – Electrical, temperature, light, etc.
  •  Assist in the energy audit planning
  • Support in analyzing energy usage data and preparing preliminary reports.
  •  Support in the drafting of schematic diagrams and dashboards (graphical & tabular) for energy.
  •  Assist in carrying out energy & thermal modelling for sites and major energy-consuming systems.
  •  Support in coordination with Clients for site access.
  •  Help develop and document energy efficiency plans and proposals.
  •  Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and service providers for quotations and technical information.
  •   Assist in the technical & financial analysis of energy efficiency measures.
  •   Assist in project implementation, including scheduling, logistics, and documentation.
  •   Monitor and record energy performance data post-implementation.
  •  Prepare draft presentations and reports for internal and client meetings.
  •  Support in the development of benchmarks, databases, tools & templates.
  •  Stay informed on energy efficiency technologies and industry trends.
  •  Maintain organized records of project documentation and communications.
  • Support the commercial team with administrative tasks related to energy audits and proposals.
Qualifications, Profile, Skills & Experience:
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in a technical role (internships included).
  •  Basic understanding of energy systems (lighting, HVAC, insulation, etc.)
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  •  Knowledge of thermal & energy modelling software (such as Pleiades, Designbuilder, PVSyst, HOMER, etc) is a plus.
  • Valid driving license.
  •  Strong organizational and time management skills.
  •  Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good presentation skills.
  •  Willingness to learn and take initiative.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
