Our sister Company SIP Ltd’s kitchen at Highlands Rose is recruiting 2 Mauritian Assistant Cook/ kitchen helper.

To support the Chef in food preparation and ensure the kitchen operates efficiently, maintaining high standards of hygiene, organization, and stock control.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting the Chef in preparation of food
• Ensuring mise en place
• Preparing orders for dispatch
• Keeping work area clean
• Receiving and controlling requisitions
• Assist in elaboration of requisitions
• Monitoring stock of ingredients and products
• Helping in any other cognate duties

·    Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations
• Understanding of hygiene and food safety standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good team spirit and communication skills
• Attention to detail and cleanliness

• Holder of a valid certificate of character and food handler.
• Available at the earliest
• Available to work on a 45 hours shift/week roaster from 2 am to 11h00, Monday to Saturday,2 Sundays per month. Company transport shall be provided for morning pick up.
