Reneworld Ltd is currently looking for an Assistant Accountant to join our dynamic and purpose-driven team.

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to support our finance function and contribute actively to month-end closing, financial analysis, and compliance activities. This role offers hands-on exposure to IFRS-based accounting in a structured and fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

As part of our finance team, you will:

• Partner with the Accounting Manager to own and execute month-end closing activities

• Handle day-to-day accounting operations and proactively flag any issues

• Monitor weekly cash positions and support cash flow planning

• Maintain lease accounting schedules under IFRS 16, including Right-of-Use assets and lease liabilities

• Prepare and submit statutory returns (VAT, TDS, and others) accurately and on time

• Perform revenue recognition, deferred revenue analysis, and reconciliations in line with IFRS 15

• Prepare sales analysis and revenue reconciliations, investigating variances

• Assist in both internal and external audits, preparing supporting schedules and responses

• Mentor and guide junior accounting staff on technical accounting treatments and reconciliations

• Contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or ACCA Level 2 completed/ongoing

• 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience in a similar role

• Strong working knowledge of IFRS, especially IFRS 15 (Revenue) and IFRS 16 (Leases)

• Experience with accounting software or ERP systems

• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and perform under pressure

• A proactive, hands-on attitude with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
