We are looking for Assistant Cook/Trainee Cook in our various properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and present meals according to the hotel’s standards.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, including Trainee Cooks.
- Monitor food stock levels and place orders to avoid shortages or waste.
- Ensure kitchen hygiene, sanitation, and HACCP compliance at all times.
- Control food costs and portion sizes while maintaining quality.
- Collaborate with management to plan special menus and events.
- Maintain kitchen equipment in safe and functional condition.
Profile, skills & experience:
- Certificate/Diploma in Culinary Arts or relevant experience.
- 3+ years’ experience managing a professional kitchen.
- Strong leadership, organization, and cost-control skills.
- Reliability and attention to cleanliness.
- Certificate of Morality
