Key Responsibilities
Equipment Maintenance
Inspect, maintain, and repair air conditioning and refrigeration systems
Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance
Monitor system performance and efficiency
Diagnose faults in HVAC and refrigeration units
Repair or replace defective components, compressors, fans, and cooling units
Respond promptly to breakdowns to minimize guest inconvenience
Assist in installing new air conditioning and refrigeration equipment
Support upgrades and modifications as required
Ensure correct setup according to manufacturer specifications
Follow safety procedures for handling refrigerants and electrical components
Comply with local regulations and environmental standards
Maintain records of maintenance and repairs
Coordinate with engineering and housekeeping teams for maintenance schedules
Report major issues or recurring problems to the Engineering Manager
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
