Accompanying and safely loading, unloading customers on the ziplines.

 

Duties & Responsibilities: 

Activity Briefing & Safety Instructions:

  • Provide a clear and thorough briefing to customers before the activity begins, including safety rules, equipment usage, and expected behavior.

  • Ensure all participants understand the safety protocols and equipment required for activities like quad biking, ziplining, or luge karting.

  • Conduct safety checks on all gear and equipment, ensuring they are in proper working condition before each activity.

  • Monitor participants throughout the activity to ensure adherence to safety guidelines.

Guiding and Assisting Participants:

  • Lead customers during the activity, providing guidance, support, and instructions as needed.

  • Ensure participants enjoy a fun and exhilarating experience while maintaining safety at all times.

  • Adapt your guiding style to different levels of experience, ensuring both beginners and experienced participants have a great experience.

Customer Engagement & Experience:

  • Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, creating a positive and engaging atmosphere throughout their experience.

  • Offer encouragement and assistance to participants, especially if they feel nervous or unsure.

  • Ensure that each customer has a personalized experience, adjusting the pace and intensity of the activity based on customer needs.

  • Create memorable experiences by sharing insights or fun facts about the activity, the surroundings, or the company.

Handling Equipment & Maintenance:

  • Assist customers with the proper use of equipment such as helmets, harnesses, and other activity-specific gear.

  • Ensure equipment is clean, maintained, and ready for use between activity sessions.

  • Report any damaged or faulty equipment to the appropriate maintenance team to ensure safety and readiness for future customers.

Monitoring Participant Safety:

  • Continuously monitor the safety of all participants during the activity, looking out for any potential risks or issues.

  • Act quickly and calmly in the event of an emergency or if a participant requires assistance, following the company's emergency procedures.

  • Ensure customers are following the rules and not engaging in risky behavior that could compromise their safety or the safety of others.

Post-Activity Feedback and Wrap-Up:

  • Provide a post-activity debrief, answering any questions customers may have, and offer tips for improving their skills or making the most of the experience.

  • Collect feedback from customers regarding their experience and provide it to management to improve future operations.

  • Ensure the activity area is clean and organized for the next group of participants.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other team members and activity coordinators to ensure seamless operation and communication during each activity session.

  • Help train or mentor new guides or assistants, providing support as needed.


Additional Ancillary Duties: 

In addition to the core responsibilities outlined, the Adventure Experience Guide will assist with various ad hoc tasks as required by the organization. These may include supporting and providing assistance to other teams.
