Actuarial Analyst

We are looking for an Actuarial Analyst to support our pricing, reserving, and risk management functions. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with senior actuaries, underwriters, claims, and finance teams to analyze data.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, reviewing, and maintaining pricing models.
• Analyse claims and exposure data to assess portfolio performance and profitability.
• Perform quarterly data reconciliation exercises for valuation purposes.
• Assist in calculating claims reserves.
• Assist with IFRS17 reporting requirements.
• Process and analyse large datasets to derive business insights.
• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using Power BI.

 Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related fields.
• Progress towards actuarial qualifications will be an advantage.
• At least 2 years of working experience in the insurance or financial services sector.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and statistical skills.
• High attention to detail, accuracy and professional integrity.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
