Accounts Officer

Rey and Lenferna Ltd, one of the most established engineering companies in Mauritius, is looking for a dynamic candidate for the position of Accounts Officer.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Import costing calculation and Miscellaneous inventory transactions
2. Prepare stock and other reports
3. Attend inventory counts and perform reconciliations
4. Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts
5. Assist in the preparation of various returns to Tax Authority
6. Assist in the preparation of semi-annual and annual budgets
7. Any other cognate duties

Key Qualifications and Experience:

1. At least three years experience as Accounts Officer
2. ACCA Level II
3. Honest, committed, trustworthy and ability to work in team
4. Ability to work under pressure
5. Professional skepticism, experience in auditing will be an advantage
6. Good knowledge in Spreadsheet
