We are looking for an Accounts Officer, school leavers and fresh graduates welcome to apply.

 

  • Process daily transactions and maintain proper financial documentation and filing of financial records. 
  • Process invoices for both AP and AR systematically and ensure correct data entry.
  • Maintain supplier accounts through accounts payables processes: maintain record of invoices; verify the Statement of Accounts; timely payments and reconcile outstanding balances. 
  • Maintain client accounts through accounts receivable processes: timely allocation of receipts and reconciliation of accounts. 
  • Daily tracking and recording incoming and outgoing bank transactions. 
  • Prepare and load weekly payment batches to creditors. 
  • Prepare weekly Cash book ledger postings and perform bank reconciliations. 
  • Liaise with Banks/Suppliers/Customers as and when required. 
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of sub-ledger accounts. 
  • Assist in preparing FSC surveys & statutory returns. 
  • Assist Senior Accountant in preparation of timely monthly management account, yearly budget and year-end accounts. 
  • Assist with any other duties from Seniors. 
 
Requirements:
  • HSC with Accounting or Diploma in Accounting or ACCA level 1
  • Knowledge of Pastel Accounting Software would be a definite advantage.
  • Good understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Ability to synthesize large amounts of data, identify key issues and communicate these issues both verbally and in written form to seniors. 
  • Able to work well in a small team. Ability to quickly develop working relationships throughout the business. 
  • A self-starter who can get on with the task in hand, who knows when to ask for assistance and when to communicate information and issues. 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. 
  • Ability to manage his/her time and prioritising tasks to a high standard to meet deadlines. 
  • Experience gained within a professional services firm or within a corporate organization is an advantage.
