We are looking for a highly organized and detail-driven Accounts Officers to join our UK payroll operations team in Mauritius. This role involves managing timesheet reconciliations, raising high-value client invoices and supporting payroll-related accounting functions. It’s ideal for someone confident with numbers, data and deadlines

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with weekly and monthly timesheets across multiple clients
• Reconcile hours worked with payroll records to ensure accuracy in billing
• Raise high-value client invoices (often involving substantial amounts) for wages, PAYE, pensions and fees
• Submit pension contributions to providers (e.g. NEST) and ensure compliance with deadlines
• Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue payments
• Prepare payroll costings and summaries for accounting purposes
• Assist with payroll-related reconciliations and month-end reporting
• Review and validate worker pay rates, deductions and client billing terms
• Liaise with the payroll and operations teams to clarify discrepancies or missing details
• Maintain accurate financial records and audit-ready documentation
• Support new client onboarding
