About the Role
As an Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients while actively pursuing new business opportunities. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and identifying opportunities for additional services or solutions that align with HMT’s technology portfolio. This role suits someone who thrives on hitting sales KPIs, has a keen eye for opportunity, and understands the dynamics of the technology market.

Key Responsibilities
- Client Management & Relationship Building: Act as the main liaison between HMT and assigned clients, understanding their needs and ensuring satisfaction with HMT’s solutions. Conduct regular meetings and site visits to maintain engagement, gather feedback, and anticipate future requirements.
- Revenue & Business Growth: Identify opportunities within existing accounts to upsell and cross-sell products and services across HMT’s business units. Develop new business within the technology sector by prospecting, networking, and converting leads into long-term customers. Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs by maintaining a healthy pipeline and closing deals effectively.
- Market & Opportunity Analysis: Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to position HMT’s offerings advantageously. Analyse client data and industry developments to identify potential growth areas and inform strategic decisions.
- Internal Coordination: Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to ensure client requirements are accurately translated into solutions. Share customer insights and feedback internally to help refine service delivery and product development.
- Reporting & Forecasting: Maintain up-to-date records of activities, opportunities, and forecasts in CRM systems. Provide regular reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and account health.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in technology sales, with demonstrable success in achieving or surpassing KPI targets.
- Strong business development skills — able to spot, create, and close new opportunities.
- Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships at all levels of an organisation.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; able to interpret market data and client feedback to guide sales strategy.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
