Mozaza Logistics is looking for an Accounts Clerk to join the team in Grand Bay. The Accounts Clerk works closely with the Debtors & Invoicing Supervisor to facilitate sales transactions with accounts receivable as well as assist with other accounting/finance related duties.
Duties & Responsibilities
The scope of responsibilities of the Accounts Clerk covers the following:
Outline of Duties & Responsibilities:
- Processing of customer invoices in Sage accounting software;
- Manage updates on FMS & other accounting system;
- Performing supplier statement reconciliations;
- Record weekly sales transactions;
- Assisting with month-end closure;
- Ensure correct approval, sorting and matching of invoices/receipts;
- Regularly tabulate data and compile any necessary reports and/or relevant information requests;
- Ensure that all filing is up to date at all times;
- Provide support to other accounting functions;
- Perform other tasks and/or reports that are requested by the Director and Finance Manager.

- Academic Background: Min School Certificate/ Higher School Certificate
- Experience required (minimum/maximum): 1 - 3 of general accounting experience.
- IT knowledge: Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products (excel; word).
- Languages: Full command both written and spoken; English – Intermediate level both written and spoken;
- Time availability: Must be available to work during weekend for month end closure.
Working Hours
Regular Office working hours at Mozaza Logistics:
- 08h30 – 17h00
- May also be required to work remotely after working hours (once a week)
