Accounts Clerk

The Accounts Clerk will perform duties in the General Ledger department.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Receive invoices and verify with respective Purchase Order.
  • Verify that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures.
  • Process invoices on system and send to cashier for payment.
  • Review creditor’s ageing.
  • Prepare schedule of expenses.
  • Reconcile statement of account.
Qualification & Competencies:
  • Higher School Certificate with Accounting.
  • At least 1 year working experience in a similar position.
  • Well-versed with Microsoft tools (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
  • Strong personality with excellent communication skills in both English and French.
  • Able to prioritize and work on own initiative.
  • Strong team player.
  • Should be proactive, creative, resourceful and demonstrate professionalism.
  • Quality and detailed oriented.
  • Ability to work under pressure, odd hours and meet monthly deadlines.
