Performing day to day accounting transactions as listed in Job Description.
Job Description and Responsibilities
- Handling and overseeing all the activities of the Accounts Payable operations
- Processing of suppliers’ invoices on a timely basis with accuracy and efficiency
- Verify the accuracy of invoices, availability of supporting documents and approvals before payment processing
- Processing of payments as & when required
- Reconcile suppliers’ invoices and statements on discrepancies and resolve same in a timely manner
- Handling and processing of Petty Cash transactions
- Assist in the Procurement processes as & when required
- Ensure all documentation are properly filed and archived on timely basis
- Coordinating with internal departments to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues
- Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, posting and recording of data on the financial systems
- Ensure that all internal processes are carried out as per set company policies and procedures to ensure compliance
- Assist the Accountant & Finance team in any other cognate duties as & when required or directed
- Assist the Finance & Operations Manager in Reporting, Analysis and other tasks
Requirement and Qualification as follows:
- Minimum HSC holder with “Accounting” as principal.
- Currently undertaking or studying ACCA would be an advantage
- Minimum 1 year experience in same or related position would be an advantage
- Knowledge and worked previously in an accounting software (SAP, Sage, Oracle etc..) would be advantage
- Computer literate with Microsoft Excel Skills and excellent in using Microsoft tools is a must
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (both English & French)
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Ability to work well with management/HOD and staff at all levels
- Ethical behavior and abide by company policies and procedures
- Goal-oriented and organized team player
- Ready to work odd hours whenever required and to meet tight deadlines
