Blue Safari Group continues to grow, and we are now looking for two talented accounting professionals to join our finance team and support our multi-company operations across tourism, marine services, and boatyard management.
Accountant (ACCA Level 2)
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the accounts receivables, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, follow-ups, and cash collections (all receipt types).
- Monitor aged debtors and take proactive actions to reduce overdue balances.
- Reconcile customer accounts, investigate discrepancies, and maintain updated records.
- Work in collaboration with the analytics team member to improve reporting accuracy and support management decision-making.
- Assist with other accounting or finance tasks as needed.
- Prepare reports and statements for management and support month-end closing activities.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, internal controls, and statutory requirements.
- Provide support and guidance to colleagues involved in receivables and other accounting tasks.
Skills & Abilities
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and receivables management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines with accuracy.
- Strong proficiency in Excel; experience with accounting software such as Odoo is an advantage.
- High level of organisation, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage workload independently and take initiative.
- Team-oriented with the ability to support and guide others.
Qualifications
- ACCA Level 2 or equivalent qualification.
- Prior experience in a receivables or supervisory accounting role is an advantage.
- Analytical mindset and ability to challenge status quo.
- Ability to manage multiple situations simultaneously.
Accountant (ACCA Level 1)
Main Responsibilities:
- Support day-to-day accounting tasks.
- Prepare invoices, receipts, and payment entries accurately and on time.
- Assist with stock reconciliation, petty cash control, and daily reporting.
- Follow up on supplier documents, outstanding invoices, and missing information.
- Maintain proper filing systems and ensure all documents are organised and up to date.
- Assist with month-end closing, reconciliations, and basic financial checks.
- Provide support to Procurement & Admin Executive in handling operational and accounting challenges.
- Assist in preparing reports.
Skills & Abilities
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new responsibilities.
- Good organisational skills and document management.
- Clear communication and ability to collaborate with others.

Qualifications
- ACCA Level 1 or equivalent qualification.
- Prior experience in accounting or clerical work will be an advantage
- Candidates residing in the North will have an added advantage.
