Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or ACCA Certification.
A minimum of 2-3 years previous work experience suitable to the level of the position which includes the preparation of management accounts in the hotel sector.
Experience using a computerised accounting package.
Computer literacy with proficiency in using Microsoft programs, with advanced skills in formulating spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.
Excellent verbal & written communication skills, which includes fluency in English.
TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
The preparation of monthly management accounts and quarterly Financial Statements in compliance with the IFRS;
Ensuring proper compliance with the applicable taxes in Mauritius;
The day to day running of the Finance Department;
Reconciliation and process of payroll;
Providing the management with relevant and accurate information in a timely manner;
Implementation and monitoring of Internal Controls.
