Chue Wing & Company Limited (ABC Foods) is a leader in FMCG distribution in Mauritius and a major Division of the ABC Group of companies.ABC Foods is looking for a dynamic Accountant to join our team and shall report to the Finance Manager.
Key Duties:
- Lead a team of Accounting staff and act as liaison person with other departments
- Prepare management accounts and financial statements for the Group, Company and its subsidiaries in accordance with IFRS
- Prepare budgets & forecasts and perform monitoring
- Manage treasury and cash flow
- Responsible for all Accounting and Finance functions
- Liaise with internal & external auditors and implement audit recommendations
- Review monthly and annual statutory returns
- Implement internal controls and procedures.
- Prepare reports for Committees and Board
Key Competencies:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organised and committed in meeting deadlines
- Highly motivated, proactive, and dynamic person
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fully conversant with MS Office
- Experience in Oracle NetSuite and Power BI would be an advantage
Key Qualifications:
- Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA)
- At least 5 years’ experience
- Sound knowledge of IFRS and local legislations
