ASSISTANT LOGISTICS COORDINATOR

Manage and supervise a team of drivers and vehicle assistant to ensure deliveries are done in a timely manner.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and supervise a team of drivers and vehicle assistants in their daily duties.
• Manage a team of drivers and vehicle assistant to ensure goods are delivered in a timely manner.
• Ensure a proper planning is done on the eve to facilitate deliveries as per specific routes.
• Coordinate and monitor supply chain operation to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Monitor the GPS records and report anomalies to Management for remedial actions.
• Ensure that orders are delivered in line with customers’ delivery requirements.
• Liaise with Warehouse and Sales Department to arrange alternative deliveries as and when required.
• Close follow up on customer complaints and returned goods.
• Check vehicles for servicing requirements, damages and arrange repair and/or replacement of vehicles or vehicle parts as required.
• Ensure adherence of staffs to company policies related to deliveries, Health & Safety, HACCP Regulations and others.

JOD REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

• HSC Holder
• 2+ years of experience in a similar field
• Strong knowledge of warehouse and supply chain management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Computer literate - Well versed with MS Office
• Holder of a valid driving license for Private Car
• Able to work on shift system/odd hours
