ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SUPERVISOR

 

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable Accounts Payable Supervisor to manage trade payables and ensure timely, accurate processing of payments. The role involves overseeing AP workflows, performing reconciliations, and supporting monthly closings. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to process improvement and operational efficiency.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee trade payables and end-to-end accounts payable processes.
  • Ensure timely and accurate recording of accounting entries and payment postings.
  • Supervise AP workflow and maintain compliance with company policies and deadlines.
  • Perform monthly and year-end closings in coordination with the finance team.
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve payment issues.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations and verify financial transactions.
  • Prepare monthly AP reports and present findings to Management.
  • Analyze AP performance metrics and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support audit activities with relevant documentation and explanations.
  • Prepare cash flow forecast
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support the finance function.

 

Qualifications and Skills

  • ACCA (Minimum Level 2) or Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar accounting or finance role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with accounting software is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
