Reporting to Finance Manager; the selected candidate will have the responsibility to manage and provide support for the accounting, finance reconciliation and consolidating data for the C-Care Grand Baie.
What you will be doing:
- Receiving and recording and reconcealing the receipt of invoices
- Processing invoices to make sure payments are correct and on time
- Requesting receipt of statements from invoicing contractors or businesses when they are not provided
- Processing payment runs
- Matching and filing invoices and receipts
- Reconciling business accounts to make sure amounts paid reflect goods and services received
- Answering queries from suppliers, contractors and other business departments about accounts payable or payments made
- Following invoices, payment to be issued with other relevant suppliers
- Verifies financial reports by running performance analysis software program
What are we looking for?
- Degree Holder/ACCA Level 1-2
- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting and finance
- Knowledge of and application of bookkeeping principles and practices; knowledge of office methods and procedures; ability to make independent judgments in implementing established procedures
- Computer literate (the use of standard office equipment and software including MS Excel, Word, any accounting software programme)
