PNL is looking for an Accounts Clerks for its Finance department.
MAIN DUTIES:
- Ensure timely banking of cash collections in line with established procedures.
- Perform bank reconciliations and investigate any variances.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and supporting documentation.
- Assist in accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing, postings, and follow-ups.
- Process accounting entries and assist in maintaining the general ledger.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare financial reports, reconciliations, and analyses as required by management.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding balances, discrepancies, and account queries.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and other finance-related activities as required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of accounting processes and controls.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Minimum HSC holder with Accounting or Mathematics
- Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a similar accounting role
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Good understanding of accounting principles and reconciliations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Knowledge of Navision or similar accounting systems will be an advantage
